PRINCE OF WALES SENDS MESSAGE OF ENDORSEMENT TO WIRE 2002
Posted 7 February 2002
A PERSONAL message of support and endorsement from His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales will be read out at the 2002 Women in Rural Enterprise (WiRE) Conference later today.
His Royal Highness first heard of the WiRE initiative 12 months ago, when he attended a seminar at Harper Adams University College, Shropshire, in his capacity as President of Business In The Community (BITC).
At the time, he described the WiRE initiative as 'encouraging and heartening and well worth our support.'
The reading of this year's message from The Prince of Wales will form part of a packed programme of speakers, which includes Julia Cleverdon CBE of BITC.
The theme of this year's conference will be Business Skills.
